Italy’s oldest balsamic vinegar producer, the Giusti family founded their company in 1605. Over 400 years of history dons this iconic producer and they have protected the craftsmanship preserving the ethos and taste. The historical prowess of Giusti is visibly evident on their labels, which showcase the many gold medals they have accumulated over the centuries, including a royal seal of approval as the choice balsamic vinegar for the Royal House of Savoy.

Over the years they have also come in possession of the oldest barrels used to make the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP, which result in the unique taste and complex essence that they are so well known for.

Historical Collection: Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP

Giusti’s most representative collection. Five Balsamic Vinegars obtained from diverse recipes and aging processes, classified according to a progressive number of medals.
The collection celebrates the medals awarded to Giusti at International Exhibitions in the 1800s.

‘1 Silver Medal’
Aged 6 years 250ml

The 1 Silver Medal boasts rich fragrance and balanced acidity. It intensifies flavours in dishes, suitable for both fresh use and heating in cooking.

‘2 Gold Medals’

Giusti’s 2 Gold Medals, a family classic, is versatile for fresh or heated use in cooking. It offers ideal density and a sweet-sour balance, a pantry essential.

Tasting Note
Fresh and fruity, good density, over notes of mature fruits, licorice and black pepper.

‘3 Gold Medals’
Aged 12 years 250ml

Derived from a century-old recipe, the 3 Gold Medals Balsamic Vinegar is crafted from sun-dried grapes. It is dense, sweet, and in the pinnacle of versatility.

Tasting Note
Aromas of plum jam, red fruits, honey, and vanilla blend in this dense, sweet balsamic vinegar.

Tasting Note
The long aging in large oak barrels gives intense aromas and woody notes, softening pungency.

Aged Balsamic Condiments

In line with the Giusti style, there is a wide choice of condiments with delicate and strong aromas - from a white sweet and sour condiment to flavoured balsamic vinegars.

Aged White Balsamic
Condiment 250ml

Giusti White Condiment comes from pressed Trebbiano grapes, mixed with white wine vinegar. It is aged in French oak and ash wood, preserving fruity/floral aromas for a versatile, fresh, balanced condiment.

Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP
Condiment with Truffle 100ml

Created by blending Giusti 3 Gold Medals with truffles, this dense condiment offers mellowness, intensity, and persistence. Black truffles are infused in wooden casks with Balsamic Vinegar for balanced flavours.

Aged Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP Condiment ‘Family Reserve’ 100ml

Small glass bottle of sweet, delicate and considerably dense balsamic are finished by hand and sealed with rope and red wax sealing. This is made with the Giusti 3 Gold Medals Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, aged for 12 years.

Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP

These elixirs are the result of aging only grape must (no wine vinegar can be added) in a set of casks of different wooden varieties in the attics of ancient aging rooms. Giusti’s Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP comes aged 15 years (Affinato) and 30 years (Extravecchio) in various wood casks using the “refilling and decanting” method, and crafted solely from local grape must. It symbolises centuries-old Modenese art, passed down through generations. All Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP is examined and judged by a board of five expert tasters whose work is uncontestable. It is only sold in special bottles cruets, created by Giugiaro Design, each showing a numbered guaranteed seal.
