High quality vegetable conservas is still fairly new to Australia, but we believe it has a big future. La Catedral De Navarra is the undisputed quality leader in Spain. All of their vegetables are grown in La Catedral’s own fields, in the same region made famous by Rioja Wines.

The vegetables are hand picked when at optimum ripeness and delivered directly to their factory which is located amongst the vegetable fields. The vegetables are minimally processed with the goal of preserving the flavour of vegetables at perfect ripeness and without additions. They are a celebration of the best vegetables in the world.

PIQUILLO PEPPERS DOP ‘PIQUILLO DE LODOSA’ 975g

Pronounced: Pih-key-oh.

Sweet, Spanish red chili peppers that are harvested, fire-roasted, skinned and seeded and ready to be served from jar to plate.

Their intact pockets beg to be filled with any grain, leftover paella or risotto, flavoured chevres and curds before being charred over hot coals.

GUINDILLAS ‘PIPARRAS’ 1.8L

A traditional green pepper of the Basque region. Picked early and pickled in white wine vinegar, Guindillas add a sweet and slightly spicy kick to tapas and antipasto dishes.
